I started providing LoRaWAN coverage in my city by mounting the ThinkNode G1 gateway to my attic and I made a portable device to test out the reach that it has.

This project briefly describes how to digitalize analog water meters/other devices with display output only by utilizing Ai-On-The-Edge-Cam devboard. The board takes a picture of the old display, does image recognition and provides output to MQTT server via Wifi, Ethernet or via LoraWan(The Things Network).
