Crowduino With ATMega 328 V1.1

Qty: Unit(s)

The Crowduino is Arduino compatible board. Based on Arduino Duemilanove Schematic, 100% compatible to its existing program, shield and IDEs.

This Crowduino is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328 ( datasheet). It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, a reset button, and a XBee socket. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

The difference between Crowduino and other arduino compatible is the Crowduino contains a XBee socket . This feature make Crowduino not only adapts to all the shield that compatible with arduino Uno, but also adapts to the Xbee modules from Digi, and any module with the same footprint.

  • Wirelwss programming
  • With a Xbee socket so that you don’t need to buy other Xbee extend shield
  • Flat DC Jack
  • Inherits all of Arduino Duemilanuve's features, 100% compatible to its existing program, shield and IDEs.
  • Compatible to Uno's pin layout, screw hole and dimensions.
  • Evolved with SMD components.

Love this board. This is a perfect example of open-hardware at work. Elecrow has enhanced the standard Arduino and added a few really nice features. Features I like: # Voltage selection - Perfect for when you want to run the board at 3.3V and connect it directly to a Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone board. # Of-set headers. This is nice for when you want to plug the Arduino board into a bigger board instead of using a shield. Makes it easy to update firmware in spots where you can't remove the complete board. #Mini-B USB connector. Mush better than the old bulky connector and it ensures that you don't short the bottom side of custom shields. #Side-ways power connector and extra high headers. This is great for when you have customs shields that needs extra space under it. It also allows better air-flow. # Right angle I2C breakout. Perfect for making multiple boards communicate or connecting an Arduino to a Raspberry Pi. # I have not used XBee yet but it supports it. ;) # Minor thing. Gold Plated Solder Pads. Sign of quality I say. Very happy with the board. Keep up the good work.
