This is a USB transport for I2S/TDM audio output (up to 8 channels) and input (up to 8 channels) and user device control (e.g., DSP management) from PC (MacOS/Linux/Windows) thru I2C/GPIO. Compact module available in USB-C and USB-B versions
This is a USB transport for I2S/TDM audio output (up to 8 channels) and input (up to 8 channels) and user device control (e.g., DSP management) from PC (MacOS/Linux/Windows) thru I2C/GPIO. Includes bootloader for remote firmware update, flexible device configuration, HID interface, multiple audio output options, integration with SigmaStudio (simultaneous audio playback and ADAU DSP configuration). This is version of the module with galvanic isolation, to isolate the noisy USB host ground from the audio system.
It also supports direct connection of the NOS DACs and S/PDIF output.
For the use case with old PCM DACs (like AD1862, PCM63, TDA1541), the module can be paired with the reclock board to remove jitter and delays of the galvanic isolation ICs.
The device is flexible and easily configurable with the configuration tool.
