What is Crowbits-PIR Sensor?
The PIR sensor is a digital input module, it’s an electronic sensor that measures infrared light radiating from objects in its field of view. It’s often used in PIR-based motion detectors.
Feature:
Easy to use, it can be used through magnetic connection, no complicated wires, tools and operations.

How does it work?
The main component of the Crowbits PIR motion sensor module is a PIR sensor, it works by detecting infrared rays of about 10μm emitted by our body. The human body has constant body temperature, generally at 37 degrees, so our body emits infrared light with a specific wavelength of about 10μm. The interface of our PIR sensor module is a digital interface, which means it can output two states, logic high-level and logic low-level.
1. When the PIR sensor detects a human’s movement, it will output a logic high-level signal.
2. Otherwise, when there is no movement, it will output a logic low-level signal.
Uses case
You could locate the bright LED module outside your room door at night, together with a PIR sensor, once you walk out of your room at the middle of the night - the light will automatically turn on.
Tips
1. The measuring PIR distance is around 1m.
2. The PIR sensor needs 20-30 seconds to prepare after powering on.
