In the year 2021 I created a "Internet Hardware WatchDog" using NodeMCU which reboots my home router whenever there is an issue with the Internet. The P-Bit is a compact, modular IoT platform designed for hands-on STEAM and sustainability education. It features an ESP32-WROOM-32E processor with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.8” TFT display, a rotary encoder, and GPIO/I²C expansion for additional sensors. Students can monitor microclimates, optimize irrigation, and study noise pollution through an intuitive interface. By integrating IoT and data science into the classroom, P-Bit helps address the urgent need for climate literacy, empowering the next generation with the tools to understand and protect the environment.
