I've bought this panel to replace a 7" Basic series HMI-panel. I've expected, that the Advanced series devices got at least the same features like the according Basic device. Unfortunately, the 7" Advanced series device does not support brightness control which is very annoying. A display without working brightness control is not an advanced display! In the Elecrow forum, somebody mentioned a revision 1.2 which comes with brightness control. Unfortunately, there's no information which revision is offered. Even when having the product on hand - not any information about the revision. So finally, if you require brightness control, better purchase another product. I am not satisfied.
