What is Crowbits-Relay?
The relay is a digital output module, it’s an electronic control device that has a control system (also known as an input circuit) and a controlled system (also known as an output circuit), which is usually used in automatic control circuits. It could be a great idea to control the DC motor by the relay.
How does it work?
The circuit of relay module contains a 3V DC electromagnetic relay and a 3pin screw terminal, the screw terminal leads the three ports of the relay, COM (common)port, NO port, NC port. The normally closed (NC) configuration is used when you want the relay to be closed by default, meaning the current is flowing unless you send a signal to the relay module to open the circuit and stop the current. the relay is always open (NO), so the circuit is broken unless you send a signal to close the circuit. The relay can be used as an "automatic switch" that uses a small current to control large currents.
1.When the relay receives a logic high-level signal, it allows the relay to be on. The current makes the coil to be energized, then the magnet will adsorb the contact plate and connect it with the NC port. At this time, the relay is in a conduction state as a switch.
2.When there is no logic high-level signal, there is no current goes through the relay, the NC port of the relay is off, which means the relay is off like a switch.
