What is Crowbits-Photo Electric Counter?

Crowbits-Photo Electric Counter is a digital input module, it converts the optical signal into the electric signal. Due to the U-shaped design of the photoelectric sensor, it can be used as a mini door with a counting function for your circuit.

How does it work?

The main component of the photo electric counter is a photoelectric sensor, which builds the emitter and receiver into a U-shaped enclosure. The interface of the photo electric counter is a digital interface, it outputs logic low-level and high-level two states.

1. It detects objects that pass between the two fences, when the transmission path is blocked by an object, it outputs a logic high-level signal.

2. Otherwise, it outputs a logic low-level signal when there are no objects pass between the two fences.

Use cases

Use this photo electric counter with output modules, such as a buzzer. You will find when there is something pass between the two fences, the buzzer will make a sound
