Description

The PhobGCC is an open source replacement motherboard for the GameCube controller designed for competitive use. It fixes several issues with the original design while improving quality of life. It provides players with a driftless analog stick that allows them to practice for extended periods without degradation while also giving access to trigger and rumble modifications in software. The robust feature set gives players extreme control over their controller and allows them to fine-tune it to their exact tastes. It also provides extensive support for modifications of the GameCube controller such as mouse click buttons and different Z-buttons. If any of the above do not meet your needs, the firmware is fully open source and can be edited and compiled to meet your requirements!

Feature

Hall effect sensor joystick - It uses contactless sensors so the controller never develops drift. It is calibratable and the output is adjustable to accommodate every player and character’s needs such as removing snapback and improving pivots.
Phobvision - Built-In NTSC monochrome composite output for controller configuration, calibration, and debugging.
Adjustable rumble strength.
Tournament lockouts to prevent accidental taunt or start inputs.
7 trigger modes - allows the user to remove analog or digital shielding from a controller, have the analog shield activate at digital press, and more!
XY jump remappable to Z, L, or R

MCP3202 ADC	Analog-to-digital converter which converts the analog output of the sensors into digital signals for the microcontroller.
DRV5055A3 HE Sensor	Non-linear hall effect sensors use the rotation of magnets to detect stick movement.
W25Q128JVS Flash	16MB flash chip for storing user configurations.
