Once I had sorted out the driver details correctly from using the supplied examples this works exactly as I wanted it to. I am using it for both Cheap Yellow Controller as a fixed wifi throttle and openHasp as my primary display controller for home-assistant. The display is very clear and touch screen very responsive.
