DYNAMIC LED LIGHT
Dynamic light game with 8 LEDs
Using IC NE555 and Shift Resistor IC CD4015, it is a circuit that sequentially flickers LEDs from 1 to 8. IC CD4015 consists of two 4-bit shift registers inside. If they are serially connected, they can be used as 8-bit registers. IC CD4015 has slightly different operating characteristics from decimal counter IC CD4017. Unlike counters, the operation starts only when initial data is input. It stores the initially input data in the flip-flop and sequentially pushes the data by the input clock and outputs it.
It is a sequential flasher used. Due to these operating characteristics, it is necessary to input initial data that cannot be seen in the decimal counter IC CD4017 circuit when composing the circuit.
An additional push switch is required. When the push switch is pressed to input the initial data, if switch chattering occurs, the clock and chattering.
The disadvantage is that the noise is recognized as the input data of the register and more than 2 or 3output data are sequentially pushed out. The IC CD4015 is also a C-MOS IC and has very little output current, but since one or two LEDs can be turned on, the LED is directly connected without configuring a separate drive circuit at the output stage.
