【Ultra-low power consumption】Ultra-low power consumption, basically only refresh requires power.
【SPI Interface】Used to connect to other controller boards such as Arduino/Nucleo.
【Onboard voltage converter】Onboard voltage converter, compatible with 3.3V/5V MCU.
【Wide Compatibility】Suitable for Raspberry Pi/Jetson Nano/Arduino/STM32.
This product is an E-Ink display HAT adopting the image display technology of Microencapsulated Electrophoretic Display, MED. The initial approach is to create tiny spheres, in which the charged color pigments are suspended in the transparent oil and would move depending on the electronic charge. The E-paper screen displays patterns by reflecting the ambient light, so it has no background light requirement. (Note that the e-Paper cannot support updating directly under sunlight)
It is 2.13inch, 212x104 resolution, with an embedded controller, communicating via SPI interface, and supports yellow, black, and white three-color display, suitable for Raspberry Pi/Jetson Nano/Arduino/STM32.
Due to the advantages like ultra-low power consumption, wide viewing angle, clear display without electricity, it is an ideal choice for applications such as shelf labels, industrial instruments, and so on.
