● Component placement: High-speed pick-and-place machines perfectly mount tiny components onto the solder paste.
● Reflow soldering: PCBs move through a reflow oven, where temperatures rise gradually to melt the solder paste, bonding components to the board permanently.
● Quality checks: There are specialized machines used to check the precision of the soldering. 'It's taking some pictures and measurements and comparing with reference.'
