This module is designed for automated mechanical devices such as smart cars and robots to provide a multi-functional infrared detection system solution. The probe is made up by infrared transmitter and receiver tubes and other discrete components. Besides, the LM339 voltage comparator which adds a more stable hysteresis circuit as the core device constitutes a control circuit.
The module has various detection capabilities to meet a great variety of automated, intelligent small system applications.

Pull-up resistor: 5.1kΩ
Remove all objects in front of the probe, and do not let the probe point the direction of the sun. Use a multimeter measures the output voltage after power the probe board, the value should be around 1v. Put white paper in front of the probe, the output voltage should be close to power supply voltage.
For control board:
Remove all objects in front of probe, and do not let the probe point the direction of the sun. Then connect the tested probe to the board, use a multimeter measure the output voltage after powering the control board, the value should be close to power supply voltage. Put white paper in front of the probe, the output voltage should be around 0v.
