Is there an easy way to freely connect several music sources and their multiple receivers at home? Yes! But now it's time for the main question, is there the easiest and most intuitive way in the world to manage required connecions? To allow anyone seeing it for the first time to control it without any learning? Of course, now there is! All I needed to breathe a new life into my music center is the HMI panel from Elecrow.

eBUS Adapter Stick C6 is a reduced size version of previous highly demanded eBUS Adapter Shields and provides an interface to a 2-wire eBUS with galvanic isolation for enabling communication with an eBUS enabled heating, ventilation or solar system. With a size of 42 x 16 mm it is way smaller than the previous Shield versions, but still supports an USR-ES1 module being plugged onto it for having Ethernet access. Even better, with the upcoming firmware version for the ESP32-C6, it automatically scans the heating components and makes all data available via MQTT to e.g. Home Assistant with auto discovery of entities.

The heart of the project is the CrowPanel Advance, a compact and versatile device with esp32 that serves as the assistant's user interface. It's connected via WiFi to a dedicated AI server that I set up on an old laptop, which runs the Ollama software. This is the magic part: Ollama allows me to run powerful large language models locally, so all the processing happens right there.
