This project presents the design and concept of a 10 cubic meter stainless steel storage tank made from grade 304L, intended for industrial and smart fluid management applications. The tank has been carefully designed to ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and suitability for integration with IoT monitoring systems.
The tank structure includes a main cylindrical shell (virole), two dished heads (fonds), support cradles (berceaux), a lid (couvercle), a valve (vanne), and a custom nozzle (piquage) for input/output. It is designed to withstand varying fluid pressures and can be used in a variety of industries such as food processing, water treatment, chemical manufacturing, and agricultural storage. The CAD model has been developed using SolidWorks, employing sheet metal features and realistic welding simulations.
