CH32X-60-ANSI-Improved: Low-Budget PCBA in 60% Form-Factor

A very simple 60% keyboard PCB which uses the CH32X MCU.

The keyboard uses rgoulter's smart-keymap firmware, which uses the sophisticated and modern Nickel configuration language to declare keyboard and keymap definitions.

The CH32X MCU uses RISC-V, and supports writing firmware with Rust.

Design goals:

  • PCBA, using the powerful RISC-V CH32X0 MCU.

  • Low Budget.

  • Standard ANSI 60% PCB layout, but with the spacebar replaced with 6 keys.
