Low-budget 60% keyboard PCB with split spacebar.
PCBA only. Does NOT include keycaps, switches, switch plate/bottom plate, etc.
A very simple 60% keyboard PCB which uses the CH32X MCU.
The keyboard uses rgoulter's smart-keymap firmware, which uses the sophisticated and modern Nickel configuration language to declare keyboard and keymap definitions.
The CH32X MCU uses RISC-V, and supports writing firmware with Rust.
Design goals:
PCBA, using the powerful RISC-V CH32X0 MCU.
Low Budget.
Standard ANSI 60% PCB layout, but with the spacebar replaced with 6 keys.
The CH32X-60-ANSI-Improved fits in 60% keyboard cases.
Source files for plates to cut (or cases to 3D print) can be found under cad/ in the https://github.com/rgoulter/keyboard-labs repository.
