DevLab: 80dB Passive Buzzer Module

What is it?

The DevLab: 80dB Passive Buzzer Module is a compact, easy-to-use audio output module designed for embedded systems and prototyping. It allows microcontrollers and development boards to generate sound from simple beeps to full melodies by supplying a driven signal (such as PWM) instead of relying on a fixed internal tone. The module uses a standard 3-pin interface (VCC, Signal, GND), making it compatible with a wide variety of platforms. 

Why did we make it?

Many developers and makers want to add sound alarms, notifications, tones, or music to their projects (robots, home automation, security systems, IoT devices, alarms, toys, etc.), but often face limitations when trying to use speakers or complicated audio circuits.

We created this passive buzzer module to provide a simple, reliable, low-cost, and flexible way to produce sound directly from a microcontroller. With this module, you can generate variable tones and melodies, integrate audio feedback in your designs, and maintain a minimal hardware footprint and power consumption.
