TinkerPD uses the USB-C Power Delivery protocol to supply your projects with up to 20 V (selectable: 5 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 20 V). Every voltage level is capable of supplying 3A. An onboard buck converter provides a stable 3.3 V rail at every VBUS voltage, providing up to 2A. The screw-terminal output and the pin-header output can each be connected to 3.3 V or VBUS independently via a shunt.
The optional pin headers ship unsoldered for full flexibility: solder them from above to use female jumper wires, or from below for breadboard use.
Where many advanced PD boards need I2C or a microcontroller to configure, TinkerPD lets you change the requested voltage with a simple DIP switch — no MCU, no setup. Tinkering stays convenient: no tedious firmware just to change a single voltage.
An LED bar shows the active voltage profile at a glance, saving your valuable parts from the wrong rail. A dedicated error LED signals a failed negotiation — i.e. the PD adapter cannot supply the requested voltage.
Each output delivers up to 60W (20V / 3A). Up to 100W total is possible by splitting the load across the screw terminal and header (2.5A per output).
The 3.3V Buck converter is limited to 2A total.
