This is a high-resolution magnetic encoder conversion board with a resolution of 14 bits (16,384 positions) per revolution using AS5048A from Infineon Technologies
It allows for reading the orientation of a magnet via SPI communication.
The position data is updated at a sampling rate of up to 12 kHz.
Accurate readings can be obtained even with a gap of approximately 5 mm between the neodymium magnet and the chip.
Precise axial alignment between the center of the magnet and the center of the chip is not strictly required to achieve reasonably accurate readings.
