PKIO230 - I2C 4xRelay Output + 4x230V Input

What is it?

This is an I2C-controlled board with 4 relay outputs and 4 230V isolated inputs that can be easily mounted on DIN rails. The I2C addresses can be configured to allow daisy-chaining of up to 8 devices. The device is ready for use with Home Assistant(ESPHome example available) and Arduino framework(Platformio example available) straight out of the box.

Why did you make it?

This device was made because I needed a simple, scalable solution for relay output and high-voltage digital input in my Smart Home setup.

What makes it special?

• 4 Relay Outputs (10A 230VAC / 10A 30VDC) with LED indicators
• 4 High-Voltage (230VAC) Digital Inputs with LED indicators
• 2 JST SH 4-pin (Stemma QT/QWIIC) I2C connectors(3.3V or 5V)
• 2 x 2.54mm 1x4-pin I2C connectors
• 2 x 2.54mm Wire-to-Board power connectors (WAFER-HA254Z-5A)
• Supports up to 8 I2C devices on a single line
• Platformio Arduino example available
• ESPHome example available
• PKIO230 is DIN rail mountable. It's compatible with UM100 mount box from Aryar, check out the pictures.
• Relays can be powered via 5V Stemma QT power, when 'relay power' jumpers are on. (though this is not recommended)
