Bluebird ELC Microcontroller (NXP MKL26 ARM Cortex M0+)

Description:

Microcontroller (NXP MKL26Z128VLH4) module for Bluebird Electronic Load Controller (ELC) for Micro-Hydro power systems using synchronous generators.

Preloaded with firmware for a Single/3-phase, 2-step Bluebird Electronic Load Controller.

WARNING: This board cannot be programmed via the USB port, you must use the ARM Cortex 10 pin programming port and a probe like a Segger JLink.

Normally we use the FRDM-KL26Z evaluation board from NXP but sometimes these are in short supply.

This is a stripped down version with only the microcontroller and an RS485 transceiver for more robust serial comms.
