Development Kit for the open source ZSWatch platform, start developing early.
ZSWatch Development Kit is a hardware dev-kit for the open source ZSWatch platform. It allows running the full ZSWatch FW with all features in addition it gives developers full access to all internal signals, debug interfaces, and expansion headers etc.
It is meant for prototyping firmware, driver development, and early experimentation before the final watch form factor is fixed and hardware availible.
Hardware Overview:
Individual power headers per component (for power profiling)
Breakout pins to expansion PCB with health-sensor module (not included)
I²S header (for optional speaker)
USB-C connector exposing SWD, UART, RESET + USB data lines
What's included included:
Suggested external components
| Item | Required | Notes |
| USB-C cable | Yes | For power and optional USB firmware updates |
| Debugger (recommended: Nordic nRF54L15 DK, ~$35) | Optional | Needed if you want to develop the FW and flash via SWD instead of USB/BLE. A SEGGER J-Link works too, but is more expensive |
| 10-pin 1.27mm SWD cable | Optional | Needed to connect the debugger to the WatchDK. Example cables: Adafruit, Amazon |
| Battery (LiPo) | Optional | The DK runs fine from USB power alone. See Getting Started Guide for more details |
