Story
Once again doing a project that deals with stepper motors? Once again losing track of which cables go where and who does what? Gotchu covered with a controller I designed for one of my robotics projects.
Step-by-step instructions:
1) Print the parts
2) Assemble the controller alongside the hardware components. (Refer to the attached video)
3) Route all the cables through the designated ports and store them in "belly" of the controller.
And voilà, you're all done!
I designed this controller for my 3DOF ball balancer project, and somewhere through the project I started hating that my Arduino was just sitting on the table with a power supply cable nudging it from one end and stepper cables nudging it from the other, not to mention the floating LCD screen...
So I decided to make a little neat housing for all of my hardware components, finally settling on a "controller" design so the project seems even cooler :)
I now use it whenever I want to do some preliminary testing of any stepper motors in my other projects before plugging everything in and praying to God everything works
