Description:

This is a USB-C snowflake lamp designed based on the SGL8022W dimming IC. It is designed to be used as a backpack ornament, holiday decoration, desktop decoration, and also serves as a bedside night light. Choosing it as a Christmas gift for your friends will definitely be a great choice.

The snowflake lamp PCB features an embedded design with six 3V 26mm ceramic filaments, which not only provides wide-angle illumination but also protects the filaments. Compared to ordinary LED light sources, the ceramic filaments offer a gentle and non-dazzling light, and they do not heat up even when left on for extended periods. The maximum brightness is achieved when the current reaches 400mA.

The brightness control is primarily achieved through capacitive touch on the back of the snowflake silkscreen, allowing for smooth dimming, and the brightness settings have memory functionality, so the lamp will retain the last set brightness every time it is repowered without the need for repeated adjustments. Notice: The current design's transistor can only handle a maximum current of 500mA; if you wish to DIY and use other LED beads, it is recommended to use an SS8050 transistor. Also, please avoid knocking or bending the ceramic filaments during use.

The snowflake lamp is protected by two acrylic panels of different thicknesses. The acrylic panels have embedded threads and are secured with transparency screws. The design files for the acrylic are open-source. You can make your own from external links. If you think PCBA is troublesome, you can choose to buy this one. You only need to assemble it, and you can still experience the fun of DIY.
