Story
Imagine a hospital shipping a box of life-saving insulin across the country. By the time it arrives, no one really knows what happened along the way: was it dropped, overheated, or even opened? That uncertainty can mean wasted medicine, lost money, and in some cases real risk to patients.
Parcel Guardian turns that unknown journey into a transparent story. Built on the H2S-Dev board, the tag slips inside any package and quietly watches over it. A temperature spike, a sudden shock, or a hint of light from a box being opened triggers an instant alert sent over the Helium LoRaWAN network. Meanwhile, the built-in GNSS records the route and the ESP32 logs every condition detail without draining the battery.
The intelligence comes from a simple on-device algorithm: every sensor value is checked against thresholds, but alerts are sent only if conditions persist beyond a set time window. That way, a momentary bump or a few seconds in sunlight is ignored, but sustained problems trigger warnings. This local decision-making makes it practical, power-efficient, and reliable even with limited connectivity.
It is more than a tracker. It is a guardian that makes every shipment accountable, combining low power LoRa, precise sensors, and smart local rules into one reusable tag that any industry can actually put to work today.
