Story

A 1:20 scale model of the Cray YMP that set the world speed record in 1988. SN1002, "Reynolds", at NASA Ames Research Center, NAS Systems Division.

Sized to fit a Raspberry Pi 5, which can run a YMP emulator. The YMP cost tens of millions of dollars in 1988, but today a pi 5 8GB  will set you back about $100, is 10x faster with 8x the RAM, and will fit on your desk. Moore's Law in action.
