Two layer surface mount protoboard with ground ring, central power rails and left-right signal lines.
PCB only. The other components shown in examples are not included.
Hexapod Ritual protoboards are designed for direct surface mount prototyping. The pads have a horizontal pitch of 50-mil (1.27mm), which works well for components using SOIC, SOT-23, TO-252, 0603, and 1206 footprints.
Ritual boards have a 2-layer design featuring a ground ring, central power rails, left-right pin connectivity, and top and bottom paired signal lines. The paired signal lines on the top and bottom are accessible via interleaved distribution pads that make them easy to connect with uninsulated wire and solder bridges. The mounting holes have clearance for M2 washers, and the board has nice rounded corners for a smooth feel when prototyping.
Ritual protoboards come in two sizes:
All boards have ENIG (gold flashed) surface finish and use a matte-green solder mask to reduce glare when working under bright lighting.
