Powered by an ESP32, it supports an 8–12-month battery life with updates every 30 minutes. Open-source firmware and case files make it perfect for tech enthusiasts. This custom PCB is designed to create a fully functional weather station with rich features and long battery life. It forms the core of a DIY weather station project that offers a detailed and highly customizable weather display.

Weather Information: Displays real-time weather conditions, including current temperature (real and felt), pressure, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, gusts, and wind direction.
Forecast Details: Shows detailed 3-day forecasts with graphs for wind, gust, pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, and snowfall.
Hourly Updates: Displays hourly weather forecasts for the next 24 hours in 3-hour steps, providing detailed precipitation and temperature trends.
Astronomical Data: Displays sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset timings, along with moon phases and other relevant details.
Energy-Efficient Design: Updates the e-paper display every 30 minutes, ensuring an 8–12-month battery life on a single charge.
Integrated Charging Circuit: The PCB includes a charging setup compatible with any USB cable to recharge the 18650 battery.
Versatility: Features an integrated UART chip, enabling users to reprogram the device for other purposes.

PCB Compatibility: Works with a 7" black/white or black/white/red e-paper display (and associated driver HAT) and a standard 18650 lithium-ion battery. Needs to be bought seperately!

Firmware: Custom-written firmware is freely available for download, making setup simple for users.
