Preferably CNC machined from aluminum.
You can modify (shorten) the length of the dovetail by changing the value of the parameter E_ in Autodesk Fusion (by opening the .f3d file in Fusion).
E_=80mm is a little bit long but it is handy for balancing the scope if you have a heavy accessory at the camera end of the scope.
