Pinecil LED Ring Add-on

The Pinecil LED Ring adds three LED lights to the Pinecil soldering iron to improve soldering in dark environments. This addition to the Pinecil soldering iron fits just above the soldering tip on the plastic area by friction so no glueing is required. It is easy to assemble and add to the iron using another soldering iron to connect the internals.

Story

Pincecil LED Ring about:

I developed the Pinecil LED Ring through some encouragement from the Pinecil Discord channel and I wanted to release the design for others to use if they would like with all the material and design documents on my GitHub. The design has gone through one revision since release and is now much easier to assemble and add to your Pinecil soldering iron. The light helps with soldering in all environments and is always on when your iron is on. The PDF guide is still applicable on how to assemble the project and connect it to the Pinecil.
