USBridge Ecosystem: Next-Gen IP-KVM, Software Agent & Universal Firmware
USBridge Ecosystem is a versatile remote access ecosystem that combines the USBridge-KVM 2.0 hardware, a unified USBridge-Remote software agent, and universal firmware for DIY builds.
Hardware IP-KVM (USBridge-KVM 2.0)
A compact hardware stack engineered for direct infrastructure administration and Layer 0 system debugging, completely bypassing the target device's operating system.
Ultra-Low Latency, Remote Gaming & Input Streaming
Direct integration with the Moonlight protocol enables hardware-level video encoding with sub-perceptible latency: 25–50 ms at 720p and 50–75 ms at 1080p. This entirely eliminates "jelly cursor" input lag, making the device comfortable for both server administration and responsive remote PC gaming. Native gamepad support allows you to play action games remotely with zero perceptible delay.
BIOS-in-Terminal & AI Automation (MSP + AI Vision)
The hardware OCR engine intercepts the raw HDMI signal and converts the graphical BIOS screen into an interactive text stream directly inside an SSH console without relying on cloud services. This allows you to configure BIOS settings even over unstable network connections and copy error logs or serial numbers in a single click. Converting the GUI into structured text enables seamless integration with large language models (such as Claude) via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for autonomous hardware diagnostics and automated BIOS menu navigation. For automated workflows, an embedded Starlark (Python-syntax) engine evaluates recognized text strings rather than relying on fragile pixel coordinates.

Virtual Media Drive Emulation & Immutable Btrfs Snapshots
Hardware-level drive emulation allows you to mount ISO, VDI, or VMDK files directly from your computer. The target server recognizes them as physical drives and boots seamlessly without requiring file conversions or re-flashing. Data security is backed by an integrated Btrfs filesystem on the KVM layer, which records change differentials and freezes snapshots in read-only mode. Even if an attacker gains full root access on the target server, they physically cannot encrypt or delete backups stored on the KVM.
Hardware Power Management Module
For complete bare-metal control, the unit interfaces directly with the target motherboard's front panel headers. This enables hard resets, power cycles, or cold boots even during severe OS lockups or kernel panics, while providing real-time telemetry for Power LED and HDD activity status.

Software Agent (USBridge-Remote)
A 100% Open-Source cross-platform client for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS that unifies your network and KVM nodes into a single management interface. Available on the USBridge-Remote GitHub Repository.

Streaming Protocols & Global Access
The software hub natively supports multiple streaming protocols: USBridge Protocol, Sunshine, Punktfunk, and Vibepollo. Built-in benchmarks allow you to select the best protocol for your specific network conditions directly inside the app. Native Tailscale Mesh VPN integration delivers secure, encrypted remote access from anywhere in the world without complex port-forwarding setup. The agent fully supports modern Wayland and X11 display servers and operates on a self-hosted architecture with zero subscriptions or SaaS fees.

Peripheral Pass-Through
USBridge-Remote delivers low-latency USB/IP forwarding for keyboards, mice, gamepads, audio devices, and graphics tablets, alongside bi-directional clipboard synchronization for text, images, and file transfers between host and client machines.
Universal Firmware (DIY & Nano KVM)
The USBridge ecosystem is completely open to makers, enabling you to build a custom IP-KVM from scratch or upgrade existing hardware.
You can download the universal USBridge firmware and convert your Single Board Computer (such as Radxa Zero 3W or similar SBCs) into a high-performance 1080p@60 FPS KVM. Additionally, the firmware is optimized for standard budget Nano KVM modules, transforming them into ultra-fast KVM units with minimal latency and full integration into the unified USBridge-Remote application.
