The inspiration for the development of 3 dof arm robot came from two situations, First thing is it was my final year college project and the second is I really wanted to build a which was really huge and stood out amongst every other project. But the real reason is I really wanted my project to stand out from rest of my peers.

It was also about time I had completed my internship at a 3D printer manufacturing firm where I had learnt about the use of aluminium extrusions, use of corner brackets and the basics of construction required in a machinery equipment.

Being a Electrical and Electronics Engineer, having the current knowledge on the construction using aluminium profile and having prior knowledge on 3d printing just pushed me further implement all this knowledge all together.

And thats how this 3 dof arm robot was brought to reality!
