Story
The project is an electronic board for operating an LED array.
This is a complete PCB project for managing an LED array, including a professional design of a printed circuit board with all the files required for manufacturing, assembly and documentation. The circuit allows you to arrange and operate multiple LEDs, and is suitable for use in display systems, smart lighting, educational and DIY projects.
The package includes everything needed for manufacturing and assembly:
• Electrical schematic (PDF, PNG, SVG, JSON) – shows the connection of each LED, resistors, connectors and chips.
• PCB Layout – drawing of the printed circuit board, including a 3D model (OBJ/DXF).
• Gerber Files + Pick & Place – standard files for manufacturing the board and automatic assembly in the factory.
• BOM (Bill of Materials) – list of components for assembling the board.
• Altium compatibility files (PCBdoc, Schdoc) – for working and editing in Altium Designer.
Folder and file details:
1. Schematic – Electrical schematic
o Files Schematic_array-of-leds.pdf / .png / .svg: Circuit diagram in various formats (document, image, vector).
o File SCH_array-of-leds.json: Open source file for editing.
o This folder contains the electrical schematic – explains how each component on the board is connected.
2. Layout (PCB) – Circuit layout
o Files: PCB_array-of-leds.pdf / .png / .svg – Presentation of the PCB itself (circuit board) in various formats.
o File: PCB_array-of-leds.json – Source file of the board layout, editable.
o Here is the physical design of the LED board, the arrangement of the components, and the conductor paths.
3. Gerber files – Manufacturing files
o Gerber_array-of-leds_PCB_array-of-leds.zip file: An archive containing Gerber files needed for professional manufacturing in a PCB factory.
o BOM_array-of-leds.csv file: Bill of Materials list of components.
o PickAndPlace_PCB_array-of-leds.csv file: A file for automated assembly machines, with the location of the components.
o This is the important folder for manufacturing and exporting a printed circuit board according to standards.
4. CAD files 3D and CAD files
o OBJ_PCB_array-of-leds.zip file: 3D model (OBJ).
o PCB_array-of-leds.dxf file: DXF file for advanced engineering/drawing.
o Useful for 3D representation and advanced board design.
5. EasyEDA to Altium Files for Altium Designer
o Sheet_1.schdoc file: Schematic file adapted for Altium.
o PCB_array-of-leds.pcbdoc file: PCB layout file adapted for Altium.
o For those interested in continuing the development in professional Altium Designer editing.
