Story
This is a split keyboard. It is connected with usb-c as well as has two 0.91" OLEDs right on top of the two Pi Pico's. The keyboard has 18 keys on each side plus an extra 3 per side for thumb keys, overall 42 keys with RGB LEDs for each key. When I first saw an ergonomic keyboard, I was amazed by how people were able to take a simple keyboard and form it to be easier and more comfortable to use. I decided I wanted to try my hand at making a keyboard and I wanted it to be unique and not just a basic mechanical keyboard. This led me to make a split ergonomic wired keyboard. I had to learn KiCad and Fusion to do this project, which was difficult, but the outcome was amazing!
